Sir Peter Cosgrove (1947 - Present)

Sir Peter John Cosgrove is a retired senior Australian Army officer who served as the 26th Governor-General of Australia from 2014 to 2019. Prior to his appointment as Governor-General, Sir Peter had a successful military career, including serving as the Chief of the Australian Defence Force from 2002 to 2005.

David Curtis (1905 - 1993)

David Curtis was an Australian rugby league footballer who played as a winger in the 1920s and 1930s. He was born in Wellington and played for the Western Suburbs Magpies in the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition. Curtis represented New South Wales in several interstate matches.

Joyce Morgan

Joyce Morgan is an Australian journalist, author, and art critic. She was born in Wellington and has worked for numerous major Australian newspapers such as The Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian. Joyce has written extensively on art and culture, and co-authored the book "The Tattooed Lady: A History" with Conrad Walters.

Hugh Levick (1899 - 1979)

Hugh Levick was an Australian politician who served as the Member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for the electorate of Wellington from 1959 to 1971. He belonged to the Country Party (now National Party of Australia) and actively represented his constituents during his parliamentary tenure.

Pat Carney (1909 - 1973)

Pat Carney was an Australian rugby league footballer who played as a prop in the 1930s and 1940s. Born in Wellington, Carney played for the Western Suburbs Magpies and represented New South Wales in interstate matches. He later became a successful coach for various rugby league teams.
